Hello Joyous is an organic, plant-based, sustainable beauty brand here to bring more joy to your day.
Let's get back to basics. I like doing this every once in a while especially in the depths of winter and reminding you of feel-good-foods that support your brain and overall well-being.
Why? Food has such a powerful and direct impact on our mood.
Do you feel tired, sluggish, irritated?
Do you feel energized, happy, ready for the day?
In my latest video, I break down 5 foods that can help you feel your best! And of course, it's not limited to this list. There are many nourishing foods that support your brain health. After this video, I have outlined yummy recipes for each feel good food.
SALMON RECIPES

EGGS
I use eggs in many of my baking recipes. From Coconut Banana Spice Muffins to Broccoli Sweet Potato Feta Frittata

Loved this post and video! Thank you, Joy, the timing was great for my family - we needed this :) I am looking forward to trying some more of your recipes from your new cookbook - especially with these feel good foods!
ReplyHey Jodi! Nice to hear from you. Glad to hear you enjoyed this video. Have a great rest of your week!
Hi Joy - I love the little pot plants you have in your kitchen - are they real ones? If so what kind?? or herbs etc... thanks! :)
ReplyThose are the only plants in my home and office that are not real! They wouldn't survive there because they are not close enough to any natural sunlight. But thanks, they are so cute! I got them from Homesense.
What do you think about eggs? Medical medical says not to eat them. Are they bad for you?
ReplyNo they are not bad for you. Eggs are a wonderful and low-cost source of protein packed with iron, B12, lecithin, healthy fats and so much more.
I love homemade dehydrated kale chips along with tea, so nice for a treat. Also raw califlower bite size with drizzled olive oil, salt and nutritional yeast as a side dish.🤍
Replymmm yum! Both of those sound delicious!
