I got a whole bunch of delicious ingredients in my Organics Live produce delivery box this week. I decided to whip up a quick bowl of cooked greens and added some hemp seeds for protein.
Eating healthy food like this is very easy and quick to prep and create. Don't be scared of the leafy greens at your grocery store. They won't jump out like a venus flytrap and bite you ;)
I encourage you to experiment! You could use any green for this recipe: kale, spinach, swiss chard, bok choy, beet greens and with a little flavour kick from coconut oil and tamari you've got a awesome recipe!
It was full of flavour and detoxifying nutrients: including fibre, flavanoids, sulfur, chlorophyll, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamin C, B vitamins and beta-carotene. This lunch was truly an local organic superfood meal with nearly ALL ingredients from my fresh box I received from Organics Live!
